Fairfield 1-1 Hampton – A game of little quality or chances. Feels like 2 points dropped after conceding late & missing an open goal at 1-0. That said we were below our standards, so no complaints on the result, a draw probably being fair. Both sides clearly had players missing.

We’re back in action this weekend with another tough test as we take on our neighbours Alcester Town in the Paddy Eades Memorial Shield a fixture close to all our hearts. (3pm kick off) . This game is played in honour of our beloved ex-chairman Paddy Eades a man who gave so much.

Really good workout for the boys vs our toughest opponent yet. Our shape (a big focus in pre-season) & work rate impressed. Our final ball in transitions let us down at times, but still we created good chances, frustrated a top side for long periods & can be disappointed not to.
