It was an interesting decision for the refs to not protect the QB in the National Championship game. Letting them play and allowing late helmet to helmet contact are not the same thing.
Cignetti just destroyed the narrative that in-game interviews are pointless with the way he ripped the referees on the way to the locker room

So many comments about IKF baserunning from 3rd… but ZERO about barger getting doubled off at 2nd to end game 6 on a ball he wouldn’t even be able to advance to 3rd on if it falls. Also, IKF executed a contact play here. Nothing else he could do, except be over aggressive.

The Braves need to be in on at least 2, possibly 3, of the following free agents this winter: Bo Bichette- Need a shortstop. Top/middle of the order bat. Young. Dylan Cease- SP that has actual stuff. Pete Alonso- DH. Shota Imanaga- SP with actual stuff.
