I loved recording this episode with @donjuliobruno! His thoughts on mindset shifts are powerful and in a world still getting to grips with the 'Great Resignation', we need to learn how to redefine success and find fulfilment in both work and life. https://t.co/PSmh5uYfQ1

There are all sorts of tools for team productivity, but that's what they are - tools! They don't address micromanagement, only prioritisation. Empower teams by fostering objective clarity, personal freedom, and deep trust. I've found it's this formula that drives success!

I enjoyed reading this in the FT this week. The flip side of remote working is that younger team members get less contact time with mentors. We have a duty to allow people to work flexibly, but we also have a duty to nurture our next-gen talent! https://t.co/Aj4ghR5yOX

(3/4) How did I fix this? I focused on empowering people to make their own decisions and to collaborate with their teammates. I trust my people to make great decisions – I give them clarity and freedom to do so, and when they need me I’m here too.

(2/4) The number of unread emails in my inbox is actually directly correlated with my ineffectiveness. If i’m constantly fielding emails and meetings, fighting fires and scolding people, then I’m not growing my business or making the right decisions.

(1/4) šŸ’How many emails do you get a day? One big mistake leaders make is thinking the number of unread emails in their inbox is directly correlated to their importance in the business. This is NOT true, in fact it’s a symptom of a bad culture.

For parents, it's the dreaded summer holidays! But as business leaders, we should embrace flexible working all year round! There's no such thing as work-life balance - there's only life. So let's help people fit work around their all year round. What do you think?

What’s a Return on Commute & how is it measured? This @Forbes piece shows how companies are incentivising the return to offices. Nice ideas, but they need to be backed up by empowering people to choose how they work - that's what adds real value! https://t.co/5Qej48Rf42

From a leadership and business perspective, we should be careful to not get caught up in work that we forget about real, human connection. So let’s step back and reconnect, prioritise meaningful connection and look after our loved ones and our health too!

We've been talking a lot about mental health of late and it's highlighted that loneliness is as harmful as smoking for overall health - and people around you could be suffering without anyone even realising. Whether at work or at home, remember to reach out to those around you!

@CloudfmUK (3/4) It shows 83% of #businessleaders say data should make decisions easier, but 86% said that data makes them less confident about decisions. 91% of businesses say the volume of data has limited their success, and 72% say it has stopped them from making any decision at all!
