The Duffers did move to Paramount because they wanted to make movies and content for the big screen. It makes sense why they left Netflix if they couldn’t even play the final episode of Stranger Things in movie theaters.
The Duffer Brothers hoped the two-hour #StrangerThings series finale could be shown in movie theaters so everyone could "experience it at the same time with fans." However, Netflix’s chief content officer Bela Bajaria shut down the idea, saying: “A lot of people — a lot, a lot,

Okay. I can understand why they didn't go all out with this resort. A bit more theming would have been nice, and Camp Jurassic is proof you can have a heavily themed playground, but yeah. It's clear they had lots of restrictions from the local government.
@BlankSamuel @BrerOswald It’s because the local government just wants this to be a local and sprung area destination for kids and not a world wide one. Mayor Jeff Cheney said “adults, older siblings are welcome – but the ‘target’ audience is ages 3 – 9 and rides will be designed for younger children”

Regardless, I shouldn't be surprised after seeing how FL's DreamWorks Land turned out. And don't anyone start telling me that it's "for kids" because they aren't stupid. They deserve the same level of immersion that you'd find at Disney or the other Universal parks.

Universal seems to think that kids only like off-the-shelf amusement park rides and splash pads with a bare minimum of theming. That, or the goal of Kids Resort is to encourage families to travel to FL or CA because this park is obviously not going to draw in tourists.

The Unlucky Nugget is proof that guests are CRAVING immersive experiences. This elevates the restaurant to a whole different level, like the stage show did The lines are long and I’m sure this will become a staple. It’s a shame they’re only building unimaginative NEW restaurants

His "legacy" of genocide, theft, and getting too much credit for "discovering" this "new world" that was already home to various cultures that thrived until he ruined it. Signing a piece of paper means nothing. It's Indigenous Peoples' Day ✊️

Phantom Manor 2019 Portrait Concept Art vs Final Version. This proves there was another story they considered where the Phantom did away with the suitors after he had passed. This concept shows his spirit blowing up the floor beneath Ignatius "Iggy" Knight.

Rare footage of the Casper: Behind the Screams attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood. Set in a replica of Whipstaff Manor, Casper's mysterious mansion, it gave guests a haunting look at the spectral special effects of Amblin Entertainment's film 🎬 @UniStudios

Concept art for one of the 2019 Phantom Manor stretching portraits. The Phantom is at the bottom igniting the dynamite. I've attached the final version for comparison. This was from D23's A Spooktacular Spotlight event with WDI.

I would have been more open to the idea of using other religions if the characters knew what they were doing, but Catholism was already established as key to driving out demons, and yet all these new characters thought that "unity" and their own rules would be enough.

The Exorcist: Believer. It disrespects the original film, ruins the legacy character, disregards the priests' sacrifice, ends on a sad note, and in an attempt to please everyone...creates a mishmashed mess of characters who don't know what they're doing.

The problem with the new Grand Floridian carpet is not necessarily that it's colorful. It's just overstimulating. The previous carpet had much simpler, calmer designs, with a few colors mixed in. This new one just has so much going on.

I agree that Splash's retheme was not planned before 2020. Maybe it was an idea, which is how they got away with saying that, but they made a big deal about the attraction's 30th anniversary and came out with new merch when the parks reopened (only to pull it shortly thereafter).
''We were Planning Splash Mountain's Retheme since Summer of 2019'' Meanwhile in February 2020 after a Refurbishment:
