When you’re not in crisis or actively working on yourself, how often do you set appointments with your therapist? I’d love to go once a month, but my budget is a little tight right now so I’m once about every 2-3 months.

Pet peeve: when I open an app to clear a notification, I do the action needed, close the app and it still shows I have 1 notification waiting. Then go back in to see if I missed something, nothing. Close. Still there. 🫠

Some of my favorite books were recommended by my therapist (it’s like she gets me 😉). I’ve only read 8 of the “101 Essays That Will Change The Way You Think” by @BriannaWiest and I already know, this will be a re-read for me! What book would you suggest for personal growth?

Years ago, my therapist recommended I read a book called “Attached.” I finally finished it! Just scheduled a session with my therapist to discuss what I’ve learned about myself.

If you have AppleTV, I highly recommend #TheCrowdedRoom! It’s a great portrayal of how mental illness is perceived and how difficult it can be when you’re not seen or understood. Be aware, it may be triggering for survivors of SA. It’s a very powerful 10 episode series.

I’m terrible at creating and keeping healthy habits… but I think if I make it a game, I may do better. Make it points based, more points for new habits, fewer points for current ones. Prizes could be added - but I’m competitive enough, I may not need them.
