Two staged readings (directed by Katie Hileman) will be held Saturday, May 13th at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, May 14th at 2:00 pm, at the Eagle’s Hall of Zion Church of the City of Baltimore (400 E. Lexington Street, Baltimore, MD 21202).

But ours is a story told with dance breaks, with bowls of soup, with gardens and ghosts, with the deep-rooted love of mothers and daughters.

The past year has, unfortunately, unraveled itself to show the story of women's fear and power cannot just be a glimpse of the past-- the need for bodily autonomy is with us now as much as it was then.

Along with the help of her mother and daughter, she created an underground ring of husband-poisoning, which allowed women a rare opportunity to create agency in their own lives.

Currently titled Tofana, the play is inspired by the true story of Giulia Tofana, a 17th century woman who was executed for the murder of 600 men.
