Whilst I get this, I think Bloomfield is the best option out there - Knows the league and plays 4231. Carrick wonāt drop to L1, and as good as Williams is, he would be a terrible fit for our current squad (3Atb). Only better option would be an in-work manager imo. #readingfc
Regardless of his capabilities and credentials, Matt Bloomfield as Readingās new manager sends out entirely the wrong message. Jobs for the Boys, cronyism, it wonāt wash with the vast majority of fans anymore. They have GOT to show us their intent and ambition on this #ReadingFC

Or, just hear me out, having a DLP is fine provided the players in front/alongside him are actually progressive midfielders. 4231 with either Fraser/Savage/Elliott (depending on opposition) alongside Wing, and Doyle in the 10 should be a non-negotiable now. #readingfc
Tin hat on. The midfield looks so much more balanced and conventional without Wing. I think this is because the midfield doesnāt look like itās got this weird deep lying role - which just doesnāt work anymore. #ReadingFC
