⚠️ Pontypridd has been hit by devastating floods and our wonderful independent bookshop, Storyville Books, has seen much of its stock destroyed. If you’re able to buy a book from them, this would go such a long way to help support them in the aftermath. https://t.co/3fPOpo29gg

Nestled in the rolling hills of the South Wales valleys, we are the only independent bookshop in Pontypridd, selling new books and more.

This carved head of Odin was found during the excavations of Oslo’s old town, and what’s particularly interesting is that it dates to the 12-13th Century; long after the conversion of Norway was allegedly complete. ᚬ

'A thousand Cheshire Cats grin inside of me'. Song by XTC - My bird Performs. A bountiful amount of milk and cream from the numerous dairy farms in Cheshire could be the reason cats in the county have huge grins. #FolkloreSunday 🎨 by me

'Tic tac' shaped UFOs have been spotted a few times flying up the eastern side of Wirral towards New Brighton Lighthouse on the northern tip of the peninsula. All sightings report that when they fly behind the lighthouse they don't reappear again. #WyrdWednesday

History and modern folklore have associated Winston Churchill with British Bulldogs forever and more. However, Churchill's favourite dog was Rufus. A miniature poodle. #FolkloreSunday pic - my Stanley. An example of the Bulldog Spirit. But not today. He says he's very tired.
