There is a hole in this ship and all they have done is given us thimbles to bail. Regulating the drug supply is an effective and cost effective solution. Everything else is a distraction. Use the proceed to fund recovery or the useless MMHA. Just stop the death.

Why are there no stories into why government are getting away with doing absolutely nothing to stop the overdose crisis? Honestly, drug checking, overdose prevention sites, prescribed safe supply are all unfit to address the crisis. Literally all we have is naloxone.

I wish we could help everyone, but those who were lucky enough to access DULF know that we saved their lives.

Funding IS NOT our Achilles heel. The beauty of what we have done is that ideas do not rely on funding. Chop down DULF and another will reappear. We are motivated by love, and cannot be stopped.

No one would have predicted that over 25,000 fentanyl-related deaths would happen in Canada when fentanyl replaced the street-based opioid supply in 2015. But prohibition and deadly drug policies are popular everywhere. Wake-Up Australia! @MySafeSociety

Huge fentanyl shipment seized in Australia. Predicable for years. Inevitable. So why didn’t Oz authorities establish national testing network so people who use drugs could test for fentanyl? ⁦@ACTINOSProject⁩ ⁦@harmreductionau⁩ ⁦@FFDLR

"The speed at which the drug supply is evolving has exposed the lack of agility our medical system needs to keep pace." Our policymakers must look at multiple models for safer supply, such as compassion clubs and co-ops https://t.co/f2t4N1tlKH

“The summer I turned 21, I personally responded to over 100 overdoses,” Jeremy told Vancouver city council last fall. It was his idea to try buying drugs from the dark web and test them to make sure they didn’t contain harmful additives like fentanyl. https://t.co/agUxcTwHaW

I think that the transition from people who use criminalized drugs being seen as ‘bad’ to being increasingly seen as ‘sick’ is having a negative impact on the fight for more humane drug policy/

These anti-stigma campaigns are brutal and offensive. If the resources of “ anti-stigma” were shifted to informing on evidence-based drug policy advertisements, that would be real anti-stigma.

@CarlynZwaren @DanielGarrettHR @Providence_Hlth Is possible now. Diacetylmorphine can be prescribed in every province and territory with current regulations. The provinces should provide and pay for safe, effective & cost effective treatments like iOAT. Add to formulary, domestic producers, like Pharmascience, are ready to go
