I’m starting to see JJ as more of a + connective passer and elite finisher vs a true #2. Which is the reason I’m going through this thought process. I’m personally torn between Trae being so great that more shooting is enough. Versus acquiring a secondary creator via trade.

Watching Sarr tape and saw some catch and attack possessions at the top of the key/seam. Reminded me of Glen discussing this with Jalen’s development. I like the speed at which Sarr made the decisions and the willingness to pressure the rim. Makes him at the 4 more viable imo.
"Attacking on the catch" we hear the coaching staff talk about that. Jalen demonstrates what that looks like. He attacks the seam immediately on the catch and gets to the rim for the easy bucket

3. What is keeping Vit off the floor? It seems like the connector role is very valuable in todays NBA and we’re lacking here. Hoping JJ helps with this roster gap long term. Is it his defense? Shooting? No clear playing time / low investment in him from an asset POV?.

2. When did JC start doing the big jump before his 3s, and has it stopped recently? I feel like I noticed it this year, but not as much recently and his shooting has gotten better recently. Have y’all also noticed / any thoughts on if the timing with his struggles?.

1. Any concerns long term with AJs release? His volume is low and he doesn’t take many semi congested Js. Do you think this is a factor? . Or maybe he’s playing conservative / still a rookie finding his groove in the offense, but he seems to pass up some shots a few times a game.
