Had no idea about this, thank you 🤝 actually very interesting In a basic eye test way I guess it makes sense, a lot of pitchers who pitch long and get a lot of Ks tend to allow HR/FB, solo shots here or there
@JFar2Nice Your overall point is right that books just nuke SGP odds so they're often pointless. But Strikeouts and Home Runs actually correlate directly with each other. I think because longer outing leads to more Ks and also to more HRs. Hidden variable, partly why the odds go down

@JFar2Nice In general I agree with you, a lot of SGPs are awful. There are still a handful of edges across the various books though, just tougher than it’s ever been.

For the most part no, there are def some weird SGP interactions that can get you higher odds if you play around though The most important thing is just to check
@JFar2Nice this is interesting, do you think after a certain amount of SGP legs you end up getting higher odds than you would if they were separate events?
