Name 2 underground Hip Hop albums that sound like you just walked into a basement show with a DJ or 2 and heard some of the illest music that would change your view on Hip Hop as a whole.

I could talk about this album all day long but the main reason why I love this album is because how open Elzhi is about his depression and the writers block that followed him. My favorite eL 🖤
The writing on this song alone makes this the greatest song ever. It feels like Ride could’ve been sitting on this one for some time and finally had the chance to let it all out.
Most of their tracks almost touch this level of writing constantly but this one… wowzers

... how do you agree with this? Wu-Tang has a hh classic and has some of the best solo projects. BH has a long way to go to ever be on Wu-Tangs level

do you ever get obsessed with a small part in a song?
like the way the beat switches? the guitar playing in the background? the sax that carries the beat? an ad-lib? the part you anticipate the minute you press play?
