#PredatorBadlands is the literal definition of Hell Yeah! Let Trachtenberg have whatever he wants when it comes to this franchise because this rocked in every facet. The action is exquisite but the smaller, intimate moments make this shine. It also looks absolutely beautiful.

Blessed I got to see this at Chicago International Film Festival. Amanda Seyfried is transcendent. This is a much watch for everyone this Christmas!

#christymovie starts out strong, as it goes along it looses its punch. Michod’s directing is bland, and the boxing is shot with no spark. Sweeney does give a career best turn here in her young career though. It’s a shame a story like Christy’s gets diluted down to a basic biopic.

#NowYouSeeMe: Now You Don’t wasn’t really my cup of tea and that’s okay. I found the script mediocre and the chemistry among the cast members feels off. While I get the whole schtick is magic I found this particular film very goofy in the wrong ways.

#SentimentalValue is a big win for me. Trier’s tale of loneliness and depression are done with such care and respect. Showing how art can be a cathartic experience for these emotions and in some situations it can heal those wounds. Reinsve and Skarsgard are stellar. #ChiFilmFest

#SoundofFalling is a hypnotic odyssey seeing the stories of 4 generations of women all living in the same farm house. Its bold cinematography and perfect sound design makes up in the problems of the structure and storytelling. A film I appreciate more than I love. #ChiFilmFest

What I don't have in experience, I make up for in integrity. And what Andrew Cuomo lacks in integrity, he could never make up for with experience.

#ItWasJustAnAccident is my favorite film of the year so far. Panahi draws you in from the opening shot never letting go of that grip until the brilliant final shot. The incredible one takes and pitch perfect blocking keep you on the edge of your seat. #ChiFilmFest
