Interesting that the Guide classified the food @Ballymaloe in 1967 as "Franco-Irish cooking" rather than Irish cooking which was Myrtle Allen was all about....

Got this yesterday - a very enjoyable read and informative too. Funny thing, Ali verbalises what every Irish person knows innately, but we don't realise that we know it until we see it in print. Love it. Get it.
