My dad started his career as a phys ed teacher, was my first coach, and shared his love of sports with all three of his kids. He passed away last week, but I’ll always be grateful for his support in helping me chase my dream and sharing a passion I continue to pursue.

Genuinely no idea what the Jays do when they’re fully healthy. Everyone’s contributing, flexibility has become their strength and a lot of the depth guys seem more confident with their expanded roles.

Especially insane how clutch this Jays team is considering the last two seasons they were 20th and 21st in OPS with RISP. 5th in the majors now despite nothing from Santander, average seasons for Vladdy and Bo, a late start for Barger and 24 games from Varsho. Can’t get over it.

Addison Barger now with two more extra-base hits than Vladdy this season in 145 fewer plate appearances. Kid has changed so much for this team and it sure feels like the Jays future.

Happy Canada Day Blue Jays fans. Yankees had their ace on the mound against a team with an overworked pen and injury depleted lineup just to get blown out and give Toronto a chance to win the series and knot up the division tomorrow.

Knies really gets it.
Knies on 6-yr extension with Leafs: I just wanted to be here as long as possible, really. I wanted a longer term. I just think this deal just fit best for me and my trajectory as a player. I was just excited to get it done before free agency and help them out as much as possible.
