El-Nakah et al conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial of cathodal #tDCS use for drug-resistant #TemporalLobeEpilepsy and found a reduction in seizure frequency and epileptiform discharges. Though not approved, this study is promising.

In a Letter to the Editor, @fabnascimen et al call on the @ACNS_org to supplement their standard #EEG filter recommendations for use in critical care EEG. They highlight a case where varying the LFF can alter the interpretation of critical care EEG. @DrAatifHusain @SBeniczky

Alkawadri et al analyzed #iEEG data for patients with both subdural and depth electrodes.  They focused on 6 patients with a subdural contact within 5 mm of a depth contact.  For these pairs, power spectral density was strongly correlated. 🧠⚡ https://t.co/P2CITZx9vT
