NYSUT has received widespread reports of serious problems with the 2025 Regents exams. Despite proper preparations, it seems exam content did not align with the approved curriculum that educators were directed to teach and students were expected to learn.

Our educators teach to the standards. When tests don’t match, it confuses students and undermines their hard work. It’s unacceptable. @nysut we’re pushing for better alignment so every student has a fair shot to show what they’ve learned.
