This week, our JCHS seniors in the Certified Nursing Assistant program began earning their clinical hours at Parkway Manor! Students will shadow and assist experienced healthcare professionals as they learn hands-on skills in caring for patients.

Last Friday, several of our JCHS juniors stepped up to help run the concession stand during the home football game, showing once again how our students give back. Tomorrow, our Indians hit the road to take on Flora. Let’s keep that energy going by cheering them on!

JCHS alum Cade Cockburn, now a recruiter for Southern Illinois University Carbondale, returned to campus this week to meet with our high school students. Cade shared insights about life at SIU-C, answered questions, and encouraged students to think about their future goals.

Our JCHS Animal Science class practiced Animal Identification Terms using an 'Around the World' method: ▪ Students toss the ag-themed stress ball to another student ▪ Ask a question like "What's a male turkey called?" ▪ The other student will answer "Tom" ▪ And, repeat!
