I don't envy this man's job in the slightest. I remember when we used to have to try and time things to the minute for TV, but we were never dictated by outside influences such as public roads/RTCs or even the weather. Here's hoping for 4 more epic races to close out the week!
TT Scheduling. A thread🧵 I absolutely understand the frustration when TT races are moved and/or reduced in distance when the schedule is disrupted due to delays. Nobody is more frustrated than those of us involved in that decision-making.

I love more racing, of course I do, but I can't help but feel like 10 races (plus warmups/shakedowns/parades) is just asking too much of the schedule/weather...
UPDATE: Due to rain forecast this morning, there is a delay to today’s schedule. The weather is due to clear by late morning, with time then needed for roads to dry. The next update will be issued at 12:00.

I always try to give organisers the benefit of doubt where possible, but a 4-lap Senior just doesn't sit right with me.
