Our Year 5 Geographers have been reflecting on urban history. They compared London’s skyline before and after WWll. They explored how the city was rebuilt and what architects had to consider when shaping the London we know today. @JCA_Geography

In Geography, Year 4 have enjoyed taking part in some fieldwork to locate and identify different trees around our playground. They then plotted these onto a four figure grid and wrote the coordinates down for others to find 🌳🌲 @JCA_Geography #fieldwork

Year 6 have had an excellent Outdoor Afternoon with @edensforestcic . We have deepened our understanding of volcanoes,earthquakes and tsunamis by re-enacting causes and effects and creating earthquake-proof buildings

Yesterday, Year 4 showed fantastic debating skills when discussing the impact of deforestation. The children were playing different roles such as inhabitants, conservationists and cattle farmers and explained their view. @JCA_Geography #oracy #debate
