Re-reading Camming by @drjonessoc for my digital sociology class and I'm struck by how much academia needs the community that Cam models have created. I know many of us struggle with social media, maybe a forum or a discord would be a better tool to beat alienation and burnout.

As someone coming off the academic job market, I wish there was a better way to support others through it. I have never felt worse about myself than I did three months ago. I don't ever want anyone to ever feel the way I did... And as a VAP, I'll be back at it soon.
