I completely agree. HOWEVER. Alabama stayed at No. 1/would rise up boards for the longest time playing Shake Shack Tech and the Idaho School of the Blind in the first month of the season.
Penn State deserves no credit for what they did this weekend. Ohio State beat (1)Texas. LSU beat (4)Clemson. Miami beat (6)Notre Dame. Penn State beat Nevada. If they want to continue scheduling comical non-conf games, they shouldn't get any flowers until beating a real opponent.
