J&B Recycling has been a key processing partner in the FlexCollect project since its rollout in Newcastle in 2023, with materials sorted and recycled at our Hartlepool facility.

At our #Hartlepool MRF, we continue to collect and recover glass from Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR). Once separated, it’s sent to UK reprocessors, where it’s cleaned and turned into cullet – the raw ingredient for making new bottles and jars. 🥂

#RecycleWeek - Day 4! ♻️ “Rescue Me! Recycle” – and glass is a perfect example. #Glass was the first material we recycled in 1998. Working with local pubs and clubs, we’ve been collecting bottles and jars ever since, helping valuable resources stay in circulation. 🤝
