Sural Nerve Neuroma post calcaneus fracture ORIF using Sinus tarsi approach. Historically, the most common surgical intervention for symptomatic neuroma has been neuroma excision and implantation of the nerve end into muscle, which was first described by Dellon et al.

In the second phase, internal fixation is performed via a sinus tarsi approach to accurately restore the anatomy of the articular facets.

The first phase addresses the overall morphology of the calcaneus by restoring its height and length through osteotaxis, achieved using a lateral external fixator.

A novel technique utilizing external fixation has been used in this case for the management of calcaneus fractures. The procedure is divided into two distinct phases.
