Brilliant morning down at the Thorp Arch Training Ground with our Flint Academy U8 & U9 squads playing against Leeds United. Some excellent competitive games displayed and exciting football being played!⚫️⚪️ Thanks to Leeds for being brilliant hosts this morning👍🏻⚽️

Now it’s time to fly back to Uk, take a few days to reflect and look back on the summer before jumping straight back into work!⚽️⚽️

Excellent week to end and amazing trip, the players where great, they brought tons of energy, enthusiasm, hard work, and most importantly the willingness to learn and develop throughout the week.

Week 8 - Oneonta Ny✅🇺🇸 My 8th and final week out here in the states with Beestera & I had the privilege to direct my biggest camp of the summer, having 85 players.

To finish off a good week, we get a brilliant Google review from the camp with some mentions too!🥳 1 final week to go before heading back home!

With it being the first time delivering in this state, we focused on the fundamentals of attacking and defending splitting it into different sections such at, small group team defending, 2v1 & 3v2 attacking overloads, transitions & dominating 1v1s.

Week 7 - Bristol Vermont✅⚽️ Excellent week in Vermont Bristol, the first time Beestera delivering a soccer camp in this region. Another brilliant week for myself directing another camp, alongside 2 other coaches. We had a great group of players and overall an unbelievable camp.

It’s been a brilliant two weeks, lots of session planning, analysis, & reflection.

Week 5 & 6 - Mount Holyoke & Essex Vermont✅ Over the last two weeks I’ve completed 1 residential camp in which we led a 6 day intense football programme, which consisted of 3 training sessions a day, followed by a trip up to Vermont where I directed my 4th camp of the summer!

Week 4 - Saugerties, Albany NY✅⚽️ Another brilliant week down in Saugerties and my second camp being director. As it was a smaller camp this week, we focused more on the individuals at camp and done more 1-2-1 work! The week was finished off with a trip to Lake George🌊

Week 2 & 3✅⚽️ Boston & Pennsylvania The last 2 weeks I had the pleasure of delivering camps across 2 different states as well as attending, Baseball & MLS Matches & the famous Rocky steps!

First camp of the summer done in Albany NY with Beestera at Red Hook Soccer club. Now time to spend 4th July in New York City before heading to Boston next week for week 2⚽️🇺🇸

My first season comes to an end with Flint Academy⚽️ Grateful for the growth this year — both as a coach and as a person. Every challenge and success has shaped me. Already looking forward to building on this next season at the club!🔥⚽️⚫️⚪️
