to serve as president again doesn’t depend on proving his speech was responsible for the violence of January 6 but is established by his indisputable though unsuccessful actions to shred the Constitution’s 4-year limit on any president’s term in office

A Biden-Trump race in 2024 would be the first between a president and ex-prez since Cleveland v Harrison in 1892. Back then partisan competition was v tight until voter realignment created new majority in 1896. US politics still a bit away from that denouement today.
