Hosting a joint community event on 18 September on Hampton Street, L8. All day drop in event 10am to 8pm. DJ on site. We are transforming the street removing unwanted, neglected greenery, rubbish & road sweeping. Reclaiming the street for the neighbours. Come and join us

For the sake of clarity, @CllrLHarvey is lambasting unpaid volunteer services the city relies on. She told me to ask the Mosque & the Hospital to fund a bin on a street which houses city wide services. Typical politician calling others liars. Do your job councillor. Do your job.
@ItsyourworldL @MSAGL8 What’s unacceptable is lying! I’m assuming you are Jane Wragg? I have not told you anything of the sort. I explained I have limited ward funds & already gave MSAG money this year so it is only fair that I ensure other areas of my ward receive a share of the LNF too.

It’s not “an anonymous account spreading malicious lies.” It’s a community project required as Liverpool Council don’t do their job. I’ve got my face up there! All the volunteer groups in Liverpool have an account with their group name. Your “facts” are incorrect @CllrLHarvey

It would appear @CllrLHarvey has not read the whole tweet thread. I acknowledge, but separate any monies allocated to a community garden, from essential street services which serve the whole city. At least as a resident & a leader of a community group, I do my research.

Wow. Simply wow. This is why L8 is so neglected by its own Councillors. I’m owed an apology @CllrLHarvey . I’m no liar. This response is more unacceptable than the act of “asking around” to fund a bin. You met a strong, empowered woman here. You can’t push me around.

@CllrLHarvey @MSAGL8 @CllrLHarvey has asked us to fund our bins on Mulgrave st. so monies can be shared across the ward. The provision of serviced bins is a priority in our communities as much as in the City Centre. We ask again for litter bins to combat neglect in areas of heavy footfall @MSAGL8

Mulgrave St, L8 has heavy footfall from the Hospital & Mosque; both essential services to the city. Our litter study identified a regular, significant litter drop. Litter from visitors in the city centre is removed daily. Why not the same in our communities? @CllrLHarvey @MSAGL8

Provision of serviced litter bins is the council’s responsibility in our communities, not just in the city centre. After a community led litter study, we have been asked by @CllrLHarvey to self fund litter bins on Mulgrave Street, L8. Who else finds this unacceptable? @MSAGL8
