Well, time to share the news. I'm changing my name. Going forward, it's simply just 'Poletti' That's it. One name for me, and it feels good. I go more in depth in the attached images if you want to read more about it. Thank you to everyone who's helped me get to this point ๐
I've got some massive personal news to share with you all tomorrow. I've had it saved in the drafts all week because I've been anxious about it, but it's going to be such a relief honestly to get it out there.

I've said this plenty of times ironically, but unironically, I miss the Unity Beat #WAC2026

The humidity aside, sitting here in the stands at Robina Stadium has me thinking this place would absolutely slap as an A-Leagues venue. Someone should work on that.

Bangladesh captured the eyes of a lot of football fans in their opening game. The coach Peter Butler is hoping that the Asian Cup will present an opportunity for the players to show just how much talent there is. #WAC2026 ๐๏ธ @RoundBallAus

Despite being the lowest ranked team at the Women's Asian Cup, Bangladesh impressed against China, and will be hoping to continue to do so as the tournament progresses.

Yesterday was everything you wanted the Women's Asian Cup to be on the field, and there's plenty of discussion to have off it. Check it out ๐
Bangladesh and China played out a thriller while North Korea defeated Uzebkistan on Day Three of the Women's Asian Cup. @ItsPoletti and @MattOlsen294 break it all down, plus a bizarre story involving India's playing kits. ๐บ: https://t.co/EzKIi1cSVt ๐ง: https://t.co/7SN4wsxBWx

Coach Ri Song-ho post-game: "The main reason was because player No. 7 was cautioned with a yellow card. At any second there might be another incident so we had to avoid such a situation as soon as possible. That is why we made the decision to change it as soon as possible."
Have you ever seen this before!? ๐ค DPR Korea just made a double substitution in the final seconds of the first period, only for the half-time whistle to be blown! They could have had a free substitute window at half time. Regardless, they're sitting pretty, at 3-0!

To everyone who has ever asked, or even thought, โWhy didnโt she go to the police? Why didnโt she report?โ Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, fuck you.
Woman calls 911 to ask for help because her ex-boyfriend was threatening to shoot her, rather than send help the police chief personally calls the ex-bf to warn him that the woman is trying to get him arrested prompting him to go to her home & shoot her. https://t.co/yeeHTYK3iL

After a 15 year absence from senior women's tournament football, North Korea return to the Asian Cup for the first time since the 2010 Final loss to Australia. With success at the age group level in 2024, can it be replicated at senior level? @RoundBallAus

After not being initially included in the Matildas #WAC2026 squad, Chloe Lincoln started the opening game against the Philippines in just her fourth appearance for the team, and she is happy for whatever her role is in the squad. ๐๏ธ: @ejburke_
