An intro to a trial that got me hired. Approach your trials like you're already their editor - make the video solve their problems. In this case he was hiring because he didn't have any time for editing himself anymore and needed someone to just take it off his hands asap. So

The number one thing your clients hate is having to constantly hold your hand when working with you. Be a problem solver, the guy that ‘figures shit out’ and they will love you. They hired you to free up time in their schedule, if they still have to babysit you - you failed.

“How do I ask my client to pay me more?” If you still have to convince them, you already messed up earlier. Finding an editor who’s good at things other than editing itself is tough these days. Most think just being good at editing is enough, so their client retention

'Re-do sound design from scratch' exercise, part 3. Rules: -Open YT -Mute it -Find a video with a nice, animated intro -Grab it and redo the sound design entirely -Only then listen to the original and review your work Visuals NOT edited by me, from 'Starter Story' channel.
