I guess we're completely ignoring the fact that highly picked QB's (except for Dart who was taken in the later part of the 1st round) are drafted as high as they are because those teams are already bad.

Because he didn't trade Askarov for "peanuts" and literally no one thought the Stamkos/Marchessault deals would turn out to be THIS bad. This team needed a direction & Trotz picked one. It turned out to be the wrong one – no one's arguing that – but now he gets a chance to fix it

#Preds have an afternoon matinee against Dallas on Saturday and then play the Rangers up in New York before heading to Sweden. At this point, I have to wonder if the trip to Sweden is *the* hold up in moving on from Andrew Brunette.
