This is not a debate, this is not to start controversy. I loved my time in commentary and I have had my fair share of moments where I did my job right or I could have done better. I just want the future of commentary to look bright, and sometimes its hard to see it that way.

Also subjective depending on the style of event. A lot of brackets are for fun and have little to no meaning, but if you are being paid for instance; please treat it as a job. There is time for everything, but priority should always be what’s happening in the game.

I say subjective because there ARE moments where the game is dull or nothing is happening where you can make jokes and have a good time, but that doesn’t mean to lose full focus on what’s happening on the screen, be prepared at any and all times to go back to speaking abt the set.

Subjective take: Commentators if you’re on the mic do NOT make the commentary & the game on screen abt you. Please acknowledge when something cool happens, talk about what’s happening IN GAME. No one cares that you have a hatred towards a character that’s not even on the screen.

5th out of 50 at Upset Factor: Ramapo Monthly. Losses game 3 to Steffen and Vernias. Also placed 2nd out of 13 in dubs with a last minute edition w/ Vernias ! Overall great day! .Finally overcame my Samus problem in the process 🔥.
