My employment with SBLive Sports has come to an end. To say I am completely heartbroken would be an understatement. I want to thank all the players, coaches, parents and fans who have read the stories & interacted with me. This isn't a goodbye, this is just to see you later.

I'll never forget during his retirement year, my parents took me to Pittsburgh to see the Cubs play. I got his autograph that day. That was a much happier day than this one. You'll always be my favorite. ⚾⚾. RIP, Ryno. And keep flying high over those friendly confines.

And even after the Cubs beat Cleveland in the 2016 World Series, I didn't care how many people around here hated the Cubs and I would still wear my Ryne Sandberg throwback jersey.

He played the game the right way and quickly became my favorite player. Ryne Sandberg is the reason I wanted to play second base. He's the reason I wanted to wear number 23. Hell, he's the reason my Twitter handle is Isley23.

When I was a kid, we only had a couple of options to watch baseball. One of those was the Cubs on WGN. When I turned on the Cubs, I saw a guy playing second base whose name was similar to mine and I fell in love with watching him play the game.

NOOOOOOO!!!! 😭😭😭😭.

From playing baseball one minute to laying down and looking sad the next. I guess Scarlet had a huge bet on Emmanuel Clase throwing a ball on his first pitch tonight and just found out the news.

And if you're going to play this game and my acceptance rate matters when it comes to things like what tier I am as a driver, any ride that I am sent as a ride finder that I try to accept should count as an accepted ride.

Tonight, I have now tried to accept 24 rides through RideFinder and have only been given one of them. Meanwhile my exclusive requests have been all garbage and now my acceptance rate is tanking because you won't give me the ones I've been trying to accept.

Scarlet wins again. Tonight, I made grilled chicken wraps. While I was trying to eat all I saw was a puppy staring at me with the saddest eyes. So of course she got some chicken with cheese sprinkled on it. 🐕🤣❤️

I guess Hulk Hogan stopped saying his prayers and taking his vitamins. .

I guess someone is exhausted from taking a walk and playing all evening. 🐕😴❤️🤣

And if Uber did not IMMEDIATELY turn over the information they have on the account for the passenger that ordered this ride, they should be held accountable to the highest level possible.

And also not to mention that neither company will allow us as drivers to mark what we consider "unsafe" areas for pick-ups or drop-offs, especially those of us who work late at night/early morning. So yes, I'm pissed off that Uber and Lyft continue to let this happen.

That's not to mention the number of accounts where the person has a phone number associated that is disconnected or no longer in service, making it impossible for us as drivers to contact them.

While drivers must complete a background check, have an updated profile picture and provide their name accurately, a passenger doesn't have to do any of these things & can order rides for whoever in the world they want to without that person even being on the account.
