For #Isles POHO, I had thought about B Shanahan. However, after going over his Leafs tenure I have changed my mind. Don’t want this at all.

Now that they’re out, I’m hoping reports come out that the #Isles are interviewing Brendan Shanahan for POHO.
@ChrisBottaNHL Would guess the top choice for GM was alerted to that fact but the caveat is will the new POHO want them. Further guess the silence is due to the fact they are indeed waiting to speak to current execs still involved in the playoffs.

While the Islanders continue to go through their GM search process, will be interesting to see what happens with pending UFA Kyle Palmieri. His agent Steve Bartlett had got close on an extension with Lou Lamoriello. So we'll see where that file picks back up with the new GM.
