For anyone involved in running a grassroots club it is definitely getting harder. Expectations, volunteers, commitment and availability are far different from what they used to be. If you are still going as a club, well done and enjoy the break! Happy Xmas and see you in 2024🍻⚽️

Connor Cobbold our young Reserve keeper had a busy afternoon over at
@OutwellSwiftsFC
on Saturday. We lost the game 2-0 but he was voted our man of the match. We are back over in 2 weeks for a cup game and we are expecting him to be busy again.

The way fixtures are being crammed in for evening games at the end of the season, if there is nothing riding on the game we can see lots of home walkovers. 6.15pm kick off’s in April🤬🤷🏻♂️it’s hard enough getting a squad when it is your home game.

Maintained our integrity, lots of young players used and a few old ones. Not where we wanted to finish but a strong side today as the students were back so finished on a positive. Thanks to all those who have stuck with us. Time for a break, summer rebuild and go again next year
