What is Obstetric Medicine? Sub-specialty of internal medicine specializing in prevention, diagnosis & treatment of medical disorders in pregnant women. Includes chronic med conditions during pregnancy (eg. renal & heart dis) & problems developing in pregnancy (eg. diabetes, HTN)
