Today, Lt. Logsdon, FEO Schrader, McClure, and Heath, FF Word, and Officers Castaneda and Carter were recognized by Medical City Las Colinas with a Lifesaving Award. The unwavering commitment of MCLC, IPD, and IFD first responders resulted in a positive outcome for the patient.

Yesterday, at a structure fire (E51), FF Hall and FF Hayter discovered this little fellow in an apartment unit not doing well. They passed him to FEO Roberson, who promptly applied the pet oxygen mask, assisting him in clearing his lungs and helping him feel much better.

T3 had a great time at Austin MS Career Day! T3 set up an engaging booth and shared their passion for firefighting with over 200 eager 8th graders. It was a fantastic opportunity to interact with these bright young minds and discuss what it truly takes to become a firefighter.

Less than 2 weeks until the Irving Firefighter Combat Challenge Team takes on the Season Opener Classic by storm. Firefighters are used to the adrenaline-pumping activities required to save lives, but not everyone is prepared for “the toughest two minutes in sports.”
