At Chengdu National Library Deputy Head of Mission Barry Mulligan opened ‘monuments in focus’, which showcases Ireland’s archeological heritage. With the library receiving over 10,000 visitors daily, the exhibition will raise awareness of Ireland in this key Chinese city.

The Embassy took part in the recent Guardian Art Book Fair in Beijing, attended by over 6,000 visitors from 23-27 April. The exhibition included books and journals on Irish architecture and urban planning, alongside video remarks from Ambassador O’Brien @dfatirl @TourismIreland
