@NCDOT @NCdotGov you have a responsibility to the traveling public including truck drivers for interstate commerce, to clean and clear the roads with proven methods. Brine is a non-proven method causing millions of dollars of damage to vehicles involved in accidents.

#Breaking . Two aircraft have crashed in what is being described as a midair collision between an American Eagle Flight 5342 and an Army VH-60 Helicopter. Both Aircraft are in the Potomac River. Sources familiar with the situation are reporting dozens of fatalities.

West Iredell responded to an accident on Interstate 40 this morning, while Enroute, E2 was involved in a rollover accident. A firefighter was trapped inside and had to be extricated by other firefighters. Chief Houston reports the FF received non life threatening injuries.

This morning Union County responded to a house explosion located at 240 Steeple Chase Circle in Waxhaw. Union 911 reported multiple calls received for an explosion with 2 elderly people possibly trapped inside. Below is the first few minutes of audio from the scene.
