Why didn't anyone tell me PILT managed to recruit a mage! Especially one this powerful!

Viktor's safe. We're safe. The Hextech runetiles were able to subdue the anomaly in a quantum style containment. AKA, It worked!

The Mothman mission exhausted me. I can't let my energy dip before this meeting. Normally, I'd take the stairs as a bit of pick-me-up cardio, but today's looking like an elevator day. Just this once.

PILT itself has experienced more craziness than usual lately, but I'm not worried, they don't know how much I've been working to address some core issues behind the scenes.

I got my presentation from my workshop boxed up and ready to go. Everything else I made is going to look like a walkietalkie compared to this. Administration will understand once they see it in person.

That's enough questions for now. I need to get ready for my pitch for Hextech. Give me something to come back to, though, will you?

No, but they sell fridge magnets somewhere in Point Pleasant, and the Mothman statue is made of metal. Do what you will with $20 and this information.

I like to think my dad's somewhere up there, watching over me.

It was one photo one time and he hasn't been on my feed since. So there.

While there are entities that crash into the world/don't have any sort of ties with human culture, don't assume that at first. Know your surroundings, the history, and the patterns of how different entities move. It's a highly nuanced field, so it's all about research. Good luck!

If you're serious about this, you need to leave all your preconceptions behind and not let your ego get bruised by the amount of ignorance you don't know you have. We all start somewhere! If you feel dumb, get excited that you're learning something new, not embarrassed.

Speaking another language gives you a leg up like at any other job. You'd be surprised how many entities engage with our world- Indrid for example knew what name people gave him and adopted it- and if a ghost knows morse code, they could know sign language.

Additionally, learn what your culture's practices are. You don't necessarily have to engage with it if you don't want to, and writing off learning other cultural spiritual practices is unrealistic to our globalized world, but you do get a natural boost from lineage utilization!

I'm specifying New Orleans because it's a known spiritual hotbed and tourist destination. If more people understood closed practices, we wouldn't have to deal with the number of endangered tourists we do. A lot of people are fine or at least try to be respectful, at least.

I'm PILTs top agent, I'm their youngest recruit, I'm an incredible researcher, and I've made 30-50% of the new and updated equipment. I am not equipped to handle Hoodoo, Voodoo, or any other sort of closed practice I'm not tied to. I can assist, but only when asked to.

Another non-negotionable is cultural sensitivity. Some entities do NOT want to deal with certain people for aspects of them that can't be helped, and you need to be okay with that. White agents aren't usual leads in New Orleans or Indigenous cases unless they have direct ties.
