There is only one day left before the court's arrest warrant against Yoon Seok-yeol expires on 6 January. The protest by tens of thousands of people and members of the KCTU and KPTU calling on the CIO to arrest Yoon Seok-yeol, which began on 3 January, is cotinuing.

Tens of thousands of people and members of the KCTU and KPTU gathered and stayed overnight in front of the presidential office demanding Yoon's immediate arrest, and the protest will continue until Saturday 4 January.

The impeachment motion passed in the National Assembly with 204 votes out of 300. The Korean labour movement will continue to fight for his arrest and imprisonment and for real social systemic change beyond the impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol.
