When a wolf lowers the front part of its torso while keeping the hind part upright, this behavior is called a bow. Wolves may bow to stretch, communicate with their pack, initiate social chase or stalk as part of an ambush.

Wolves use stalking to approach their prey, often getting close before initiating a long chase to wear down their prey. This behavior allows wolves to close the distance to prey before starting the chase.

There's a spirit of revival stirring in America. Dinesh D'Souza's new film, The Dragon's Prophecy, is part of that movement. Based on Jonathan Cahn's No.1 bestseller, the film reveals how war, politics and the Bible converge in a way that we need to make a choice. Watch on GJW+.

Did you know wolves come in more than just gray? In the Western Great Lakes, @ 98% of gray wolves are gray, but you might spot a black or white wolf. Wolf fur is about genetics & environment. In the Arctic, white wolves blend best ,while in forests, grays/blacks are more likely.

❄️ Did you know that most wolf research takes place during the winter? Winter transforms the landscape, making it easier for researchers to spot and track wolves—there’s less cover, packs are more cohesive, and wolves are often active earlier in the day. ❄️
