But when used alone, it's not gonna live up to its standards and it'll just be another goof. Again, I don't disagree that this is amazing, the examples and your comments are helpful and it demonstrates what can be done when used correctly.

multiple methods and not machine learning alone, including NLP for instance. Most developers and computer scientists will often treat machine learning as a go-to solution or some sort black box when it isn't. When used correctly it can be extremely powerful.

But the point I'm trying to make for an open domain chatbot is that machine learning can be the way to go, but not the only method. From what I see, it uses too much unnecessary resources to accomplish that when similar (or even better) results can be accomplished using . .

I cannot disagree that what you showed me and from what I have learnt about is a big accomplishment; however, it's no secret that AI assistants and whatnot are usually scripted.

Generative Models are not the way to go, this is the lazy method. Stop treating machine learning as some magic black box. There's more logic to it than purely ML.

We've already accomplished this by building our method from the ground up and using short-term memory sessions, sentimental predictions and NLP. our project has already learnt to speak in more than 40+ languages without the need of machine translation. It just works.

Additionally, it is difficult to prevent the model from learning terrible things, but it's not impossible to implement a world filter so that the bot will still reply but not learn to reply with offensive responses.

I completely disagree with this, machine learning can be the way to go if you apply it properly. Especially when you use active learning rather than training models and using it as is thus eliminating the need for a dataset.

Looks like GPT-3 is the latest language model to go rogue. 🙄. I wonder how much resources this one used? 🏭🏭. Machine learning is not the way to go for general conversational AI. I need to get a shortcut key for this, as I seem to say it every month.

I don't see this sort of thing very often but it's cool when Mitsuku can pick up on what's happening and react correctly. #MitsukuChats

If the Republicans and President Trump want to stop Big Tech bias, watering down Section 230 of the CDA is not the answer. Taking antitrust action against Silicon Valley while joining and supporting alternative technology platforms like and others is.

Naughty Dog & Sony are still filing frivolous DMCAs over memes. Just got hit with 3 in one tweet for having a heavily photoshopped Abby from TLoU2 next to a photos of myself. Each was individually DMCAed. So yes, I am so muscular that Naughty Dog mistaked my photos for Abby.

Also, gab created their own self-hosted solution to host gab because other service providers doesn't want anything to do with gab. Do they share the solution to the public? nope. Kiwifarms, same issue. but 1776 hosting is available to all!.
