5/ We started building an optimisation into the platform in February, which we call Just in Time. ⏲ In the month of July, we saved about 12 million minutes from our network, when compared to February.

4/ Efficiency: every minute saved makes a huge difference to the whole network. Our tech cuts down drivers’ waiting time for food to get prepped, and batches orders so they can complete more jobs in a day.

3/ We use our large driver network to move people, food, packages & now even groceries. In Q2 2022, 69% of our two-wheel driver-partners provided both rides and food deliveries. Multiple job types = ⬆️ their income opportunities, ⬇️ our cost to serve.

2/ Our #superapp journey is a little different from other Asian superapps like WeChat. We decided to focus on solving problems that are endemic across the region, e.g. safety in transportation. This helped us build the largest on-demand driver network in SEA.

1/ This region gravitates toward one-app-to-serve-many-needs. Most people’s first experiences with the Internet are through mobile. Plus, on entry-level or older phones that are common here, people prefer to have fewer apps. 📲.
