Make no mistake: China now has a foothold in the Canadian market and will use it to their full advantage at the expense of Canadian workers. The federal government is inviting a flood of cheap made-in-China electric vehicles without any real guarantee of equal or immediate

And let's not forget the Luxeed V9 which has finally surfaced. Set to get both EV and EREV drivetrains, this is the third model in Luxeed's line-up and packs the usual Huawei kit, including LiDAR and ADS. I'm expecting an AITO M9 style interior on this with a projector.

Finally, the Buick Electra E7, the latest fully electric model from Buick after the L7, which means Momenta ADAS. Looks a bit like a Toyota with those front lights, but the rear is stylish enough. Will Americans get it? Probably not. For a while at least.

Leapmotor's recently revealed D19 is also in there, looking every bit the Li Auto L9 in a not particularly successful mask. It is yet another three-row SUV for China's market, and is EV or EREV, so take your pick...

Chery's QQ Qurio concept has become the QQ3, the largest model in the QQ range, and with somewhat sleepy looks. Might rival the Geely Xingyuan but I think it's bigger than that, need to see the specs. Fully electric of course...

The stub-nosed new GLC L (for long wheelbase) has also surfaced. Awful. Just awful. I'll leave it at that...

Then there's the VW ID.ERA 9X, the first VW built on XPeng's platform I believe, and honestly very similar to what we thought was an XPeng in disguise at their HQ. Yet another entry to the three-row SUV segment by the looks of things, with modest styling...

Next up NIO's new flagship SUV, the ES9, which looks to be absolutely enormous. Bearing in mind the ES8 is already the largest electric SUV on sale in China, this must be bigger. ET9 styling looks a bit slabby on an SUV, but this will get flagship specs...

New MIIT filings revealed:🧵 First up, we have the Zeekr 8x, which sits between the 7X and 9X and looks like a Cayenne competitor with a bold grille but softer edges than the 9X...

As we do every year, we've put the leaders in China's ADAS space to the test and this year was no different. Each has moved on, but some more than others. This time, it was the turn of NIO's NOA system in Beijing using the triple-LiDAR NIO ES8. https://t.co/ckidZ91a6Z

This was my 5th time using NGP in Guangzhou this year and the third time with zero interventions. This was perhaps the most impressive of the three given the conditions in the tight village we went through with people, prams, and all sorts in the road.
China’s intelligent driving has leaped ahead — and the KOLs felt it firsthand. XPENG G9’s NGP handled real roads with confidence, comfort, and calm. Can it take on FSD? Hear their raw reactions. 👇 $XPEV

Not sure whether to be impressed that Wigan has so many EVs, or scathing about the fact two of them chose Capris in such close proximity.

🚨New video🚨 The new Zeekr 7X is more powerful, more luxurious, and charges faster than almost anything else on the planet. So of course we had to take it on our most epic road trip ever across the stunning landscape of Xinjiang. Check it out below👇 https://t.co/QlFSnTCgwt

Glad to see even Marques is catching up. Of course if you want to stay ahead of one of the world's most famous tech reviewers when it comes to the Chinese car industry, subscribing to Inside China Auto is the smart choice. He even used our Li MEGA video on his podcast. 😉
I lived with a Chinese EV for a few weeks to see if the hype is real. The car costs $42K, and turns out it feels like $75K+ EASILY One of the most impressive things I've ever reviewed: https://t.co/EHe358cvLt - A+ software and features. Feels like what would happen if Apple
