This thinking is a part of what had, say, Wonder Woman’s reputation go to shit. It “makes sense” to make her a ruthless killer, to wear generic armor instead. Yet you wound up with something wildly unremarkable. Maybe the original material didn’t do what “made sense” for a reason.

The “It doesn’t make sense” crowd is unabashedly anti art. It also makes zero sense that a guy with spider powers would also go out of his way to meticulously craft & design an obnoxiously bright red & blue suit whilst painting webs all over with excruciating precision, and yet.

Like, she established an entire warrior/princess archetype for superheroes. I haven’t seen any Wolverine based archetypes running around.

Yeah yeah yeah the pencil thing, but there was and still is no such thing as a child who did that, who also hasn’t at least *heard* of Wonder Woman. She simply pushed the needle for both the genre *and* industry at large in a way the likes of Wolverine or Hulk could never.

ok.what if instead of cgi lenses, you made several different masks each with a different expression that you swap out between shots?.
Respectfully, I couldn’t disagree more. I don’t want them to do another Spider-Man movie without the expressive lenses.

Supermans reaction to what separates him from humans & their bond over their experiences he could never have, is actually what humanizes him so much. James are you listening I need you to embrace the fact that, though he isn’t truly Kryptonian, he can never be truly Human either.
it really sucks because Corenswet understood Superman’s loneliness is what ultimately makes him such a relatable character. feels like there’s more scenes that express this that we didn’t get.
