The first election I worked on was for McGovern in 1972. I was in the 9th grade and 13 years old. The biggest moment for me in that campaign was driving to NYC to see him speak in the garment workers section of the city. I have plenty of stories. Some I will share.

I was part of an active shooter drill last week. I was volunteering at an elementary school and had no idea what to do. The kids, ages 5-10, knew exactly how to respond. Sadly, they’ve grown up with this. My actions would have gotten me shot had this not been a drill.

Just saw on the news that in Pa they are pulling aside undated envelopes for mail in ballots. Ballot envelopes must be signed AND dated. Be certain you do BOTH!
