A big thing I learned from job hunting: BE AGGRESSIVE. Apply quickly, follow up, and show that go-getter attitude on interviews. Decision can be made real fast. Didn’t seem to apply to Indonesian companies or companies with Indonesian decision maker, but worked well elsewhere.

Dulu motto-ku begini: Kalau cuma nunggu diajarin di sekolah/kampus, paling mentok cuma bakal sepinter yg ngajarin. But I want to be much, much more than that. So I found ways to self-learn outside of school.

Paling red flag kalo ada kandidat yang apply ke banyak role sekaligus. You can’t be 5 things at once. It’s impossible to be good at many things from Software Engineer, Product Management, Machine Learning, Data Analytics… Fokus ke 1 role dan go all-in.
