That’s a wrap!! Yesterday we wrapped our ‘MAGIC’ series. Here are some BTS shots from Samira Teymouri’s episode. ‘MAGIC’ is a spoken word series written, directed, produced and performed by an all female and non-binary company and will be releasing in early 2023.

Today we’ve begun our shooting of the MAGIC project with @InceptUK . This project has been run and performed entirely by women and non-binary artists. Being in a room all day with these passionate, incredible humans has been the best medicine

We fixed our name from “InceptCollective” to “INCEPT COLLECTIVE”. Not because it is screaming but because it is IMPORTANT (and our queer AD took too much inspiration from a certain music group).

Sometimes you get a load of shit all at once. Sometimes you get a load of shit slowly drip into your life over a period of time. The important thing to remember when you’re in the shit is that it genuinely is all uphill from here. Things can only get better.

We’re interested in the brief snippets of life. Film/theatre is just a brief look into the characters lives and given that modern social media’s short-form format is presently king, we’ve been trying to find a way to “play the game”. Short scenes/series feel like the right way.
