We just posted the latest Cass Freight Index, which saw volume as underwhelming to say the least. It got our CEO Rick LaGore to thinking about whether rate cuts by the Fed would jumpstart movement. He didn't have to look too far backward for an unsatisfying answer 🔗🔽

July's Cass Freight Index paints a grim volume picture. Shipments were down 1.8% monthly and 6.9% from 2024 as earlier tariff pull-forward meant less need to move products. And authors expect 2025 shipment volumes overall to considerably decline (the third straight year). More 👇
