#Aspidistra is a common #houseplant, grown for it's #foliage but have you ever seen them #flower! Look at the compost surface and you might see these strange blooms - resembling mushrooms, they attract #FungusGnats to do their pollinating. Some species have amazing flowers!
Just spotted this flower on an aspidistra while watering. Fascinating flowers at soil level that are pollinated by slugs and snails in their natural habitat. #aspidistra #houseplants @Tender_Plant
